I’ve been thrilled about all the response from the users of the program, and I’m happy to be able to bring Ripped! to a broadening audience. I have to share this with you. This is so exciting for me.
I've been doing your workouts for 2 months and I've been very consistent. After the first month I added cardio intervals into my workouts -- I felt my body had recovered and gotten strong enough.
Today I pulled out a workout I haven't done for a long time: Pyramid Upper Body, by Cathe Friedrich. I was curious to see if I had gotten back to a point where I could resume the weight/pounds I did last year. I didn't really expect I had. Well, get this, not only could I do the weights I did last year, but it was so easy that I had to increase my weights to poundages I've never, ever been able to lift. How much does THAT rock?!
I was stunned! I keep a notebook of the workouts I do and the weights I use and today is a banner day in my journal. I'm going to have to get out my crayons and decorate it!
Thank you, Jari. You know I've never stuck to a workout program for 2 straight months before -- I usually get bored. The reason I was able to do your workouts for 2 straight months is because they're so fun. I mean I actually didn't realize how much they were helping me, I just knew I totally loved them. Dont' get me wrong, I knew they were good, I just didn't know my body would respond this well.
Thank you, Jari. This is just so amazing. I was stuck at those weight levels for so long I just assumed that was all I could do. I had no idea I could lift more. Today was a big surprise.

Just want to thank you for creating these workouts. I tried both Slim & Lean and Ripped to the Core this week. I have hip and back problems that have always made me shy away from leg work but your videos make me WANT to do leg work. I modify a lot with the lunges – basically I just step back and forward or side to side and I go really easy on the squats but I still feel the effects. I also felt I got a good upper body workout using Ripped to the Core using only 3 pound weights. I look forward to seeing what my results will be after a month or two and hope that by taking it easy and carefully during these workouts, I can keep up with them. I was about to purchase a home gym but then discovered your videos so I feel they’re a great find.

I was suffering from chronic back pain for over 10 years. I had been to specialists, had cat scans, tried alternative therapies, and nothing really helped, nor was the pain ever diagnosed. I was on medication twice daily to help manage the pain, which didn’t work at lot of the time. I was even admitted to the emergency room for the pain that was so bad, I was vomiting while in the hospital. My degree is in Animal Nutrition, therefore, I have always been very aware of my own nutrition and health and I really did not like being on medication, but could not function otherwise. I started going to the Ripped classes at Fitness Plus from day one that it was offered. There were two reasons for this, I was getting married and wanted to look my best and also I hoped maybe it would help my back. My theory being that sore muscles on top of my pain couldn’t possibly hurt any worse than I already was, but hopefully, I would look good!! I did the ripped classes about 2-3 times a week and yes, I did still have a lot of sore muscles on top of back pain for the first couple months, but I was determined to keep going. After 6 months, I noticed that some days I had no pain at all, so I decided to cut my pain medication in half. Within another 3 months, I had even less pain, and cut it again in half. Within a year, I was totally off all my pain medication and have had virtually no pain since. Ripped is the only “treatment” that TRULY helped me. This is what inspired me to want to be a Ripped instructor as I know first-hand how it made me healthier and pain free.

The program, your cheerful and encouraging demeanour, and the excitement of being in a huge class of enthusiasts make Ripped not only fun and entertaining but good for me too! I have been a "regular" at your classes twice a week since September/04 when we revised my fitness program to accommodate the difficulties I expected to have when I stopped taking Vioxx. I eliminated all my bouncing type activities, added Ripped to my weekly program, increased the stretching and pilades-type exercises, kept up my power pacing (spinning) once a week and continued hiking and skiing on weekends. Surprise...it worked! No more anti-inflamatories and having more fun than ever!

I LOVE working out to your RIPPED video. I'm 6 weeks into it and am wondering if you will do a sequel or an advanced second work out. It's easy to follow and I really am impressed that I can do the workout with minimal equipment and right in my own home. I am seeing results but don't want to get bored after 12 weeks!! I was an ardent gym person but find that I can save loads of time working out at home so I am interested in great videos such as yours.

My Before photo shows me at a very sad time in my life. I had just lost someone very close to me and fitness and exercise took a backseat to other priorities for a few years. When I finally felt like getting fit again I spent a year doing all the cardio work I used to do and managed to lose 20 of the 35 pounds I had gained. Then I hit a plateau and no matter how much cardio I did I just couldn't lose any more pounds. Then I started Ripped! and in 6 months I not only lost the 15 more I wanted to lose but an additional 5 pounds just melted off. I lost 20 pounds and my body fat went down by 7%.
